Waking up to ^THIS^ was incredible.
We woke up Sunday morning and immediately walked outside to bask in the Florida sunrise. It was gorgeous and I knew right then that this trip was exactly what my mind and spirit needed. All the other grown ups were still sleeping and I had three hungry kiddos on my hands so we headed down the street to Dunkin Donuts for some breakfast.
We then spent a good chunk of our morning exploring the resort and enjoying the pool. The water was so warm - a nice change of pace to water in Iowa which doesn't get warm until the end of the day.
The pool deck overlooked the ocean. This was probably our most favorite way to spend the days. You can't beat that view!
The older Things enjoying the floods of typical Florida five-minute storms. They obviously don't have the drainage like we do here at home.
We had mini golf right outside of our condo. I lost count how many rounds a day we played.
We headed to the store later that day to stock up on food and other necessities for the week that we didn't want to pack. We were all still incredibly tired and run down so after some exploring on the beach, we decided to just order pizza and pasta for dinner and hit the sack early for our day at Animal Kingdom!
